I’ve never been so mistreated by a priest in my life I asked him to come and do a house blessing because there was a spirit in my house, and I showed him a video of the spirit. It was a black spirit. He pushed my phone away and said I do not want to see anymore of this, I gave him $100 and my ex-husband gave him $100 and he said he would be back the following week to finish up. He never called and he never came back so I called archives anyway they said they would get back to me after they talk to Father Miguel and I talked to the guy again and he said he’s gonna call you from the archives so I called Saint Catton and they told me he’s never coming back and I told him I’m gonna call the guys back they go call whoever you want. He’s not going back, that was the most insulting priest I would never go to that church in my life that’s the worst church in my lifetime I’ve been to and I’ve been to a lot of churches Saint Dominic St. Patrick’s Saint Catherine’s all the ones in the northside and I used to go to this church years ago when the older father was there at that past, he was a wonderful father but this man he’s not a priest he’s just I don’t know what for he’s just lazy and he got scared. I had to do my house cleansing and guess what it’s still here and it’s the devil and I faced his face and I said in Jesus Christ name my cast you out and I threw holy water on him and he didn’t leave now I don’t know how to turn to no Catholic person wants to come here. I would never go there again. Father Miguel is a fraud to me he is.
Called 2weeks ago to try to get a copy of mine and my husbands baptism certificate and they said I would need to know the exact day we were baptized. I am 36yrs old and I have 4 siblings my mom and dad do not know the exact date we were each baptized so now I guess I am sol on getting a copy to show proof I was ever baptized pretty sad if you ask me now my husband and myself have no proof of our baptism. Not sure why they catalog by date and not the name and date of birth of the person receiving the sacrament.
My family came here after a funeral services. They had put down $150 for the basement week before so we can sit our friends and family to eat and celebrate the life of our dear grand-dad. They did not have them sign a contract to reserve the spot but wrote out a receipt and they only take cash so no telling what happened to that receipt book that documented that they paid. Unfortunately no one thinks to keep their receipt but in this situation we wished we had. Everyone showed up and they told my mother in law that we need to pay or leave. After giving $150 they made her pay another $150 because we had no proof. We are hoping to find that receipt. It’s sad that they did that to my family just after a family member died. Taking more out of our pockets because they didn’t document that we paid. If you go here and rent the basement make sure to keep that receipt because they will take more money out of you. I’m very disappointed a church would do that, any other church would be so generous to allow us to reserve an area upon donation. We are now out $300 all together and we were kind of enough to clean the basement when we left still even after all that.
Very nice and open space church. Haven't visited one in over 10 years and is nice to see positive changes. The music was nice and the sound too...for those that have a weird schedule you have a chance to repent from your sins Sunday at 7 pm...
I love coming to this church it's a blessing to know that your friends and family have a part of their life with you. It's always good to have some spiritual Fitness because you never know when it's going to be your last day. Amen!
Very beautiful church but they fail to let you know basic details. They had no hot water in the hall. The toilets were leaking and dilapidated. They had rotten food in the fridge. Glass everywhere in the closest parking to the hall entrance. What was worse is we we're there for a funeral and they had scaffolding in the church and failed to let us know it was going to be there(we were there Monday and it wasn't there) over all a horrible experience. I would say stay away from this place if you plan on having any kind of service.
I used to really like this church and today we took my daughter for her 3 year presentation. I don't speak Spanish and the entire ceremony was in Spanish, which is fine. I was there for my daughter and that's it. The entire time a nun that was running the ceremony kept giving me a look which was kind of uncomfortable. And at one point she give me a really dirty look and was saying something in Spanish to me in front of everyone there. Of course out of respect I kept my mouth shut and kept constant eye contact. Luckily my wife is fluent in Spanish and what the nun said was not very nice. For a group that preaches "God doesn't judge" this church sure did judge quite a bit... Disappointing
I use to love this church, I made all my sacraments there and I got married there but the church has changed so much for it seems like the worst... as sad as that sounds.the lady who runs the music, sings as an soprano which is on the high side for: I’m sure not only myself but others also.and the new piano they have is more of an organ sound, compared to the piano we had before. All the songs are completely hard to follow along, from the way it originally was sung ,sadly I am leaving this church.. it’s just not the same..
